Hey everybody!!! It has been a WHIRLWIND first two days. Mommy and I are doing very well. She's been able to walk around a good bit, although she still has no strength in her middle. I've been eating a lot, and Daddy says I've been sucking so hard I've bruised her boobs! Sorry, Mommy! Anyway, they did something gross to my PeePee this afternoon, but the nurse-lady gave me sugar water which made me feel good. Daddy stayed with me the whole time, which is surprising because apparently he doesn't deal well with medical issues with the doodads. Oh well.

I've had lots of visitors! Check it out, here I am with Gam-Gam, who is my great grandma:

Later on, Grandma came back so she could take a turn:

Oma was here too:

This morning, Mommy took some pictures of me while I was sleeping. Daddy says they're really good:

This is the card that they use to record my important info, such as the fact that I am very large:

Auntie Rachel came to visit!!! She doesn't like getting her picture taken (she thinks that the photographer is trying to steal her soul), but she made an exception for me:

And one more picture of my new family! You may not be able to see me, but I'm over on the right, sucking on Mommy's boob:

Good goin' Charles in taking the spot that Dad's had for so long...

Here's a phrase that you need to learn that will send Dad into a testosterone-enhanced fit of withdrawal spasms: "They're mine now".

    To Matt, Sarah and Charles

We couldn't be happier if it was our own kids having their first - he is a very handsome young man and will be a source of great joy to you both. To the new mommy - I feel you pain, Michael was 9lb 10ozs and natural but boy did it hurt a lot for a few days but everytime I held him I forgot the pain - Craig as a premie was 8 lbs 5ozs but it did not hurt quite as bad since he was also a c-section. God Bless you all and may he have mom's smile and dad's voice. Can't wait to see him up close.
    Love
